My last generation of monarch butterflies are being released over the next couple of weeks. 6 are currently floating around our neighbourhood today and I have another 60+ to come.
Please keep a look out for them and if you feel so inclined, could you record any sightings on the Monarch Butterfly Trust's "Report a Sighting" webpage - www.mb.org.nz.... The butterflies have a tiny white sticker with a tag number to identify where each one has come from.
You can find out more about the tagging program here at www.monarch.org.nz...
Thanks!
