Friday Feathered Friend

Nicholas Boyack Reporter from Community News

This week a contribution from Louise Thomas.

"Probably my favourite ducky-type bird. The colour-ways are understated and sophisticated, with a pop of bright red and green. They often climb low hanging trees over water and stand on one leg and look extremely chill doing it. Grey teal/tētē-moroiti (Anas gracilis) on Henley Lake in Masterton. Bird #40 in 2023."
