Did you know that human activity is the only way freshwater pests are spread to new waterbodies? Once they’re established, it’s almost impossible to remove them and the pests can squeeze the life out of our most precious rivers and lakes. We all need to do our bit to protect waterways by always checking, cleaning, then drying any equipment that comes into contact with the water, between every waterway, every time.

This raises a big question for the modern workplace. To get the best out of everyone, should employers accommodate our natural body clocks? This idea is at the heart of the four-day work week and flexible scheduling movements.
