Researching OLD Lower Hutt 1800-1850.
Found a few old whalers, pre 1839 when NZ Company landed off the ship Tory near Petone beach.
Joe Robinson is the first whiteman found by Wakefield when walking east on Petone Beach near mouth Hutt and Waiwhetu RIVERS.
Anyone know more about these people please.
