HERTIAGE NZ WW1 soldiers shaving kit

WW1 organizations made items for the embarking NZ soliders.
This is a shaving or sponge kit, which was taken to WW1 and when the 3 brothers died, the forth who survived brought it home for his sister.
Does anyone know who hand made them please.
Red Cross, RSA or Womens groups?
