Cancer Awareness Month - Paint August Yellow
Welcome to ‘PAINT AUGUST YELLOW’the Cancer Society’s Awareness Campaign Month
To those who have supported us in the past a very ‘big thank you😊’ This is a new initiative. We are asking our supporters to host a fundraising event in the month of August and to share the message with your whanau/family and friends. Here are some fundraising ideas-
· Host a ‘Dress yellow’ Work/ Home Day
· Organise a Gold Coin Donation Mufti Day at school/kindy or preschool
· Hold a bake sale
· Organise a sausage sizzle, quiz night or movie night
· Host a morning/afternoon tea or dinner
· Dye your hair yellow/or wear a yellow wig and some are shaving their hair
· Mini walkathons/bikeathons and paintathons
Your event will help Paint August Yellow, raise critical funds needed to support the work of the Cancer Society and send a powerful message that no one should go through cancer alone.
