FOR SALE! MUST GO QUICK! Dozen Oranges. 2kg worth for $4!!

Trisha from Avalon

Our family farm has had a massive orange grown this year and we have so much oranges, grapefruits, mandarins and lemons we cant keep up with it all. So selling them for $3 a bag. In the supermarket you can get $4.50 for a kg.

In a bag you get 12 oranges which is about 2-2.5kg a bag. They haven’t been sprayed with any fertilisers or pesticides. They have also been washed!

Bring a bag when pick up. I don’t have many plastic bags available.

Price: $3

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
