Announcing the all new Hutt Valley Stage Band!
It’s a community band open to anyone from 8-80 years. You do need a minimum equivalent playing standard of 3 years to be in this band. You also need to be available Sundays from 3-5pm for rehearsals and Saturday, August 19 for our performance at the Wellington Band and Orchestra Festival.
This is a fantastic way for the family to be involved in playing music together!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
