You are most welcome to join us for our meeting and morning tea next Friday.18th July. Our guest speaker will be Tracey Martin, CEO Aged Care Association and ex Minister for Seniors. The Aged Care Assn is a powerful advocate, making sure the aged care sector gets the support it needs to provide excellent care for older New Zealanders. We met at the Senior Citizens Rooms which are on the left as you enter Queensgate Woolworths car park. Our members enjoy a range of benefits which are outlined at www.greypower.co.nz.... Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
