Aim: to foster the joy and skills of singing together
When: weekly on Mondays in term time at 4pm
For whom: children from age 7 to 16 (negotiable) boys and girls

Where: St James' Church Hall 71 Woburn Road (behind the Library)

How much: a gold coin per session, or $20.00 for the term

What we do: begin the session with warm-ups, physical and vocal, and learn how to sing and produce our voices.

What we sing: a range of songs from various cultures and languages, including Te Reo, Latin, Hebrew, English, rounds, sea shanties, folk-songs, songs from the shows!
• At Easter we sing Tenebrae in the church using songs from the Taize community
• At Christmas we sing a carol service with the senior choir
• We aim to have more informal concerts from time to time, and even produce a musical.

Our Leaders: Dr. Jonathan Berkahn, organist and choir director at St James' Church, and Helen Willberg, whose life-long work is to share the enjoyment of making music with others.
