Hutt City adopts electronic dog tags
Lower Hutt will be the first city in New Zealand to get 'Doggone' - an electronic dog tag that links to an app with a virtual ID profile of the dog created by its owner.
Following a three month trial with Doggone in late 2018, Hutt City Council made the decision to offer Doggone to all dog owners in the region for the 2019/2020 registration period.
