The Winter edition of Te Kaitiaki Wai, Wellington Water's official magazine, is now available!
In this edition we’ve focused on the impact people’s choices can make on the health of our urban waterways.
Where possible we’ve linked stories to the goals we’ve set ourselves in our 2018-21 Statement of Intent. This helps to demonstrate how we are delivering on our promises to our customers.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
