Scamming phone calls from 00881 numbers
There have been reports this week of a phone scam from 00881 numbers. if you have a message on your phone from a number starting with 00881 Please delete this and DO NOT call the number back.
If you call the number back you may then be charged significant cost for that call. Please ignore and delete calls for any 00881 numbers.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
