I park in Athol Crescent just off Boulcott Street in Wellington Central.
On Friday, my car got hit while parked there between 7am and 3.30pm (Black Mazda CX-9).
A note was left but it was on the opposite side of my windscreen so I didn’t see it and it flew away when I needed to use my windscreen wipers.
It appears to have been caused by a high vehicle/truck as the damage is quite high up on my vehicle & this has been confirmed by the Panelbeater I took it to today.
I have tried contacting a handful of Rubbish companies and surrounding businesses as well as walking up the street to see if by chance the note hasn't disappeared forever, to no avail.
I'm appealing for any information or advice that might aid in my search for the driver who was courteous enough to leave a note (something that is quite rare)
Thanks to anyone who might be able to help!

These kinds of problems are generally hard-wired into the relationship by virtue of your respective personalities.
You may be an introvert while they’re an extrovert. Maybe you’re neat and they’re comfortable with messiness. Maybe you’re an atheist and they’re a person of faith.
These things are not likely to change over the lifetime of your marriage. It doesn’t make sense to try and “resolve” them.
Prioritize dialogue instead. Not simply conversation, but an actual effort to understand your partner’s point of view.
That means learning to be curious and compassionate and creative about your perpetual issues.
It means learning to accept that difference doesn’t have to be painful.
It can simply be present.

Despite the weather a reasonable crowd turned up. The venue, from the feed back so far worked well. There was certainly a great atmosphere and as one stall holder so aptly said " a great bus from artists of the region as they networked and shared ideas and experiences." The rain poured down and the outside stalls need a medal for their endurance of the elements. Nevertheless people came. Fantastic Art crafts were the comments,
I have just had some of that delicious Salami.MMM +++
The wine I bought also promises to be great when I open it.
So thanks a lot. from Silverstream Lions and on behalf of Te Omanga Hospice.
Also to the RDA who rented their premisis for a vey modest sum, and without whom we could not have proceeded.
A big thanks also to the Army cadets who did us proud. Such amazing lads who were in the thick of the downpour directing traffic .Would love more feedback from those who attended
