COVID-19 testing update
Hutt Valley and Capital & Coast DHBs continue to test for COVID-19 across the region with 3713 swabs having been administered on Thursday 24 June across Kāpiti, Porirua, Wellington, Lower Hutt, and Upper Hutt, up from 2100 swabs the previous day. 💛

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
