Weather forecast for tomorrow is a lovely sunny day. Perfect morning for bringing family and friends to the Maungaraki Green for the Scouts pancake breakfast. We'll have lots of yummy food, a bake sale and homemade lemonade. And don't forget the raffle and rummage sale.
Cubs, Scouts and Venturers have organized games for the kids.
If you've ever wondered whether joining a Scout group would be fun for your kids too, tomorrow is the day to find out. See you there!

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
