100,000 th native tree planted in Upper Hutt this weekend

100,000th native tree in Upper Hutt.

Forest and Bird Upper Hutt would like to invite you to their tree planting this coming Saturday (29th September) which will be at Moehau.

This is also to celebrate the 100,000th tree planted by Upper Hutt Forest & Bird.

**When - 29th September, 9am - 12pm.

**Where - Moehau Stream at the flat at the southern end. Access will be through the gate at Moehau Grove off Holdsworth Avenue. Drive past the dog training area to the F&B flag.

**What - Mixed plantings (150+ plants) to be planted alongside the proposed new path that will run down the western side of Moehau Stream

They will have some planting spades available, but if you have your own please bring it.

They will be working there from 9am and at 10.30 will have an event to plant the tree. They have arranged for two of their old members who did a lot of work in the area and the Mayor to plant some commemorative trees.

Message me if you are coming and I will forward number to F&B for catering purposes.

Postponement. If they have to postpone you will be advised of the new date.
