Your feedback will be appreciated. A request from Sergeant Steve Cameron....
The Hutt Valley Police, Upper Hutt City Council and Fraser Crescent School are excited to announce that we are working collaboratively over the next few months to install a Painted Environment mural in the public entranceway foyer at the Upper Hutt Police Station.
Before the mural is designed and painted we want your feedback to help inform the mural design concept.
Please take a moment to take our short survey by clicking on the link below:

Your feedback along with Fraser Crescent school student feedback and the Upper Hutt City Vision will help to inform the mural design.
This Painted Environment project is funded by Upper Hutt City Council and is a commitment to youth development as a strategic priority of Upper Hutt’s city vision.
It supports the New Zealand Police vision and purpose and provides a real and meaningful opportunity for our City’s young people to put classroom learning into context while developing positive relationships in their community.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
