Subdivision
If you live on Harbour View Road or in City View Grove looking towards the South you might have noticed machinery working on the bush ridge across the gully. Go to iportal.huttcity.govt.nz... and search on 76 Normandle Road - (to see the full details).
Looks like bush clearance along the ridge has started to allow excavation and earthworks for subdivision into (23) sections that'll extend to the stream bed. Access into reserve land on this side of the stream will be via the "existing" (non-existent) footpath from the walkway that joins City View Grove & Harbour View Road.
Seems the Council didn't see fit to notify this work to Harbour View residents or publicly as we're not "affected"
