End the School Holidays With a Bang - Painting Wild Poppies Fri 11 Oct
Let your kids finish their school holidays with a creative bang. due to their popularity, extra art classes added at Artspace Gallery this Friday morning 11th Oct at our gallery on the Petone Foreshore with Wild Poppies as the subject.
$25 All materials provided, youth arrive empty handed and leave 2 hours later with a completed painting to be proud of and a beaming smile of creative satisfaction on their dial. This class is suitable for ages 7 - 18.
These youth classes are generously sponsored by Watercolour New Zealand encouraging youth to explore the joy or painting with watercolours.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
