Hutt City Libraries is pleased to host The Rubbish Trip's popular presentation on zero waste living!
War Memorial Library - Thursday 7 February, 6pm-8pm
Join Hannah and Liam, the Two No-Waste Nomads behind The Rubbish Trip, for an introduction to the practicalities and philosophy of waste reduction. Drawing on their own research and over three years of experience living zero waste, Hannah and Liam will guide you through the whys and the hows of life without a rubbish bin.
They're also running a practical, hands-on workshop making DIY zero waste toiletries and cleaners on the following Saturday.
War Memorial Library - Saturday 9 February, 10am-12noon
The DIY workshop is totally free but please BYO containers if you would like to take samples home!

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
