Waimarie Hutt Valley Croquet Club
Our croquet season is in full swing (pardon the pun) with teams playing interclub and others playing socially on club days. We are a friendly lot and welcome new members. For Golf Croquet Club Days, come along on a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday morning at 9.30. Wear suitable clothes for the weather and flat shoes - no heels. Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
