My relations died 1855 and buried at St James Lower Hutt.
Many of us have researched St James churchyard history and know burials are under carparks and buildings....But we move on.
Easter Monday 22//4/19 many decendants, church members and public celebrant the new panels with over 800 burials discovered [and growing] to be erected in the historical graveyard. WELL DONE all involved.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
