Looking for Flat/Unit that is Dog Friendly to Rent
Hi Everyone my Landlord has sold the property i have lived in for 13 years. I have lost out on may properties because i have a dog. I never realized how many dog haters there are. If i do not find something soon i will become homeless. I have applied for Social Housing but there is a 3 year waiting list. If anyone knows of any places could you let me know please. I am looking for a 1 Bedroom . I am 54 years old, my Dog is a Support Dog he is fully Trained, Desexed, Chipped and Registered. My Tenancy runs out on the 31st August. Changing the conversation around dementia
Reducing stigma starts with the words we use, and shifting the way we talk about dementia is a powerful step forward. This World Alzheimer’s Month, Ryman is highlighting the importance of reducing the discrimination caused by stigma surrounding people living with dementia.
Caroline Bartle, Ryman’s Dementia Care and Innovations Lead, says that using appropriate language when referring to people with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia can foster a more inclusive society. This not only benefits those experiencing cognitive decline but also their families and the wider community.
