Micky is a quality advisor at Hutt Hospital.
During March, Micky and his team created Hutt Hospital's Kōrero Service.
"People can use Kōrero to send a free card to a family or friend in Hutt Hospital," said Micky. "The team created it to help patients, especially the elderly, stay connected with their whānau during the lockdown."
"We had a huge uptake after launching. People from all around the country and even some from overseas were using Kōrero. Many users were grandchildren sending messages to their grandparents in hospital."
"It was such a privilege helping to connect patients with their loved ones. I enjoyed watching the patients’ faces light-up after receiving a card from their family."

Speed limits around NaeNae
Hi Neighbors, Just a heads up, I have just received a $170 fine for driving at 50km on Rata Street Naenae on a SUNDAY Morning. I wrote to NZTA pointing out and sending in a photo of sign stating that it was 30km on school days between those hours, but they said that the whole of Rata Street and some surrounding streets are 30km 24/7 and have been for over a year. Did I miss this been advised by council? Always good to be informed. Merry Christmas to all
