Free curtains for Hutt people
If you have a Community Services Card, you can get free curtains through Pomare Taita Community Trust from Monday 11-Friday 22 June. Get info and an order form from the Centre early next week, take it home to measure your windows and fill it in, and bring it back before Friday, June 22.
Wellington Curtain Bank then makes the curtains to fit your windows, lining for extra warmth, and drops them back to the Pomare Taita Community Trust for you to take home and hang. Curtains can keep heat in, cold out and power bills down – a great way to get ready for winter. For more info head to the Pomare Taita Community Trust at 55 Farmer Crescent, Pomare, Lower Hutt, or call Wellington Curtain Bank on freephone 0508 78 78 24.
