Youth Art Class - finish the school holidays with a creative bang

Alfred from Petone

How's this? the finished results from the 7 - 11 year old age group art class this morning, with penguins flying high, didn't they do well !!! Lets see if the adults in the Wine and Watercolour class can do as well as they did. (it was one of tonight's students that asked for penguins as a subject so hope she doesn't drink too much creative juices before she starts 🙂
If anyone is at a loose end and would like to finish the school holidays with a creative bang, there are two places left in tomorrow afternoons youth art class, ''Autumn on the Hutt River'' but the morning lass is full.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?

Public Transport fares face 70% increase..

Mike from Alicetown

Wellington region users says increases to public transport fares of more than 70 percent would be "ludicrous", and would lead to them working from home more often, or taking the car rather than the bus.
