COLLECTORS FOR MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY ASSN WANTED
Plans are now well underway for our Freedom Campaign 2018. We are hoping to make this year's appeal our BIGGEST yet - so we can get our members the SUPPORT THEY NEED!
We need YOUR help to fundraise for the important services our branch provides (like our fieldworker service) and member events. We are committed to delivering events and services across our entire region but WE CAN'T DO IT ALONE as a small volunteer member committee.
Let us know how YOU can get involved...SIGN-UP to do a short stint as one of our street collectors in your town, run your own little fundraising event with your friends or family, or just find a way to tell the public what its like having a neuromuscular condition.
PLEASE HELP! Together we can show everyone what we are capable of.... LETS DO THIS!! #MDAFreedom

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
