Looking for some unique creative activities for the next School holidays? Youth love these art classes and they are suitable for youth between 7 and 17, All materials supplied they leave 2 hours later with their own completed masterpiece and beaming smile of creative satisfaction.
Friday 13th July, option of two classes 10 - 12 or 1-3pm
$25 (normally $50 but subsidized by Watercolour New Zealand Inc - encouraging youth into the joy of the art of watercolour painting)

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
