Fun Senior Classes
Strength, flexibility and balance training have been shown to compensate for bone density loss and restore bone density. Having stronger bones leads to fewer fractures and can also aid in balance. By reducing the risk of falls and injuries, exercise can help seniors live independently for longer and help lessen the pain and stiffness of arthritis.
Come and join others who are gaining brilliant benefits from these classes. They are held at Woburn Appartments on Wai-it Cres, Lower Hutt (next to Woburn Masonic), on Friday from 11 am to 11.45 am. Non-residents of all levels, shapes, and sizes are welcome.
—only $8 for this fabulous fun session, where options are given throughout the class.
I'm also a Registered Nurse and know the importance of exercise for seniors.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
