Wild birds of New Zealand 2022 calendar - kererū print giveaway
Thanks everyone for all your calendar pre-orders. As a way to say thank you, I'll be giving away 10 A3 (print size on A3 sheet is 27X29cm) art prints of this lovely kererū drawing by my daughter Caitlin Thomas-Riley. Winners will be drawn on Tuesday, 5 October from those that have pre-ordered a calendar.
Caitlin is just finishing her third year as a computer science/computer graphics student at Victoria University. She has gained As in illustration and will next year be undertaking her Masters.
If you would like to pre-order a calendar, they are $28 each (for a large A3-size), payable when the calendars are ready to be picked up from Woburn, Lower Hutt (possibly the end of this month/early October, but may be delayed at the printers because of lockdown). Speed limits around NaeNae
Hi Neighbors, Just a heads up, I have just received a $170 fine for driving at 50km on Rata Street Naenae on a SUNDAY Morning. I wrote to NZTA pointing out and sending in a photo of sign stating that it was 30km on school days between those hours, but they said that the whole of Rata Street and some surrounding streets are 30km 24/7 and have been for over a year. Did I miss this been advised by council? Always good to be informed. Merry Christmas to all
