Forest Guardians clay class

Cate from Belmont

Clay class at Fig Tree Studio
Join me to create a red earthenware forest guardian wall hanging, inspired by the Celtic Green Man and Women. These can be hung in your garden or home, where ever you'd like a bit of magic.
We will use my own templates and imprint with leaves and fabric to create the textures on the face. This is a fun activity which looks super and is achievable even if this is your first time using clay. Suitable for complete beginners or experienced.

These will be unglazed and fired to earthenware temperature to allow the deep terracotta colour to develop. All materials are provided so all you need to do is just turn up ready to have some fun and creativity. Warming herbal teas, and nibbles will be available.

Booking essential, contact clpates@hotmail.com or text 021 143 7705
$50 per person:
Includes all materials, kiln firing and nibbles
7pm- 9:30pm
Thursday 12 November
Completed pieces are ready to collect 4 weeks after class to allow time for firing.

Price: $50

Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? 🛻🚨🚓

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?

Poll: Are you still heading to your local for your caffeine fix, or has the $$ changed your habits? ☕

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Wellington’s identity is built on its cafe culture, but with costs climbing, that culture is under pressure. We’ve seen the headlines about recent closures, and it’s a tough pill to swallow along with a $6+ coffee.

We all want our favourite spots to stay open, but we also have to balance our own budgets ⚖️

We want to know: How are you handling the "coffee math" in 2026? Are you still heading to your local for a chat and a caffeine fix, or has the cost of living changed your habits?

Keen to read more about "coffee math"? The Post has you covered.
