Martinborough water supply update
Following the fault on Monday with the low manganese bore that is supplying the Martinborough Township, the pump was successfully replaced yesterday.
However this morning the pump experienced an electrical fault, which means there is no water pumping from the bore and reservoir levels are going down. We have our team on site working on a replacement as fast as possible.
The total outdoor water ban is still in place, and the community is encouraged to continue with their water conservation efforts. If the township uses more water than we can supply from the low-manganese bore, we will have to use the other bores as well. That could mean the townโs drinking water becoming discoloured.

Anyone know when a start is going to be made on the Ava Rail pedestrian footbridge? It was supposed to be finished by the middle of the year but no sign of a start yet.
