Belmont Domain and Predator Free Pareraho

James from Belmont

The Predator Free Prareraho initiative has a trap line of 30 traps around the domain and along the riverbank. These traps are to catch predators such as rats and stoats before they can make their way from the riverbed up to the Pareraho Forest behind Kelson.

These traps need to be checked about every week, so I am looking for a few people to check the line on a regular basis. If we can get a group of four or five people, then each of us would only need to check the line once a month.

There are 30 traps in the line, which take me about one and a half hours to check walking to the start and back from the finish.

Please PM me or text/ring me on 021-469655 if you are interested in joining this team.
