Washing on the Clothes line...Carbon footprint.
I am old fashioned, I hang the washing on the clothes line every time.
I hate the clothes drier.
NOW I learn that I have saved so much of MY OWN Carbon Footprint on this earth.
AND if everyone did same, by NOT using the drier for one year, [ that is saving the cost of 9 months petrol use to the environment.]
USA has laws against using clotheslines as neighbours might get upset seeing knickers on the line....REALLY.....they need to go back to allowing clothes lines in every backyard to be used.
