He’s with his family now, they live on Hewer Cres also, and they’re happy to have him

Hello neighbours
I live on Hewer Crescent,
My neighbour had a door knock, asking if she had lost a kitten because this lovely lady had found one and was trying to find the owner, and has left the kitten with her, my neighbour called me as she has more than enough cats in her care, and asked if I could help, so I now have said kitten who was named Miss Potts
(all though he’s a boy so we’ll call him Mr Potts)
the kitten is black and white, male, approx 6 weeks old, kitten is riddled with fleas, has the squirts and has worms, I’ve given it a worm tablet, I’m not sure yet if I’ll give it flea treatment (as I’ll need to break open a dose and only use a small
Portion of it, but I’m urgently looking for the owners, please call me 021-060-2701 we can’t keep kitty here for long, as my cats stress and last stress he had ended up with him in cat hospital and now has regularly occurring urinary infections which cost $200 each vet visit! (Sorry for that history lesson)
I will have to take the kitty to a cat rescue, tomorrow afternoon if I haven’t heard from the owners.
Please share post, thanks

Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? 🛻🚨🚓

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?

Poll: Are you still heading to your local for your caffeine fix, or has the $$ changed your habits? ☕

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Wellington’s identity is built on its cafe culture, but with costs climbing, that culture is under pressure. We’ve seen the headlines about recent closures, and it’s a tough pill to swallow along with a $6+ coffee.

We all want our favourite spots to stay open, but we also have to balance our own budgets ⚖️

We want to know: How are you handling the "coffee math" in 2026? Are you still heading to your local for a chat and a caffeine fix, or has the cost of living changed your habits?

Keen to read more about "coffee math"? The Post has you covered.
