Spanish classes in the Hutt - 2022 Term 2
¡Hola! For those interested in Spanish classes, I just wanted to share with you that I will continue teaching Spanish at the Stokes Valley Library in Term 2. Saturday classes restart on April 30 and I'm also opening two classes on Tuesday evenings on May 3: a new complete beginners class and a Pre-Intermediate Spanish class! And for those with a more advanced Spanish level, we have an online Conversational Spanish group class every Sunday.

Speed limits around NaeNae
Hi Neighbors, Just a heads up, I have just received a $170 fine for driving at 50km on Rata Street Naenae on a SUNDAY Morning. I wrote to NZTA pointing out and sending in a photo of sign stating that it was 30km on school days between those hours, but they said that the whole of Rata Street and some surrounding streets are 30km 24/7 and have been for over a year. Did I miss this been advised by council? Always good to be informed. Merry Christmas to all

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
