West Auckland District Tramping Club walk this Sunday.
This Sunday, 16th June, the club is having a walk on the shore. For the first part we are exploring Kauri Glen Reserve, Northcote and walking the newly opened Tree Top Bridge. We are then walking Milford to Takapuna. For more information go to our website and look under Activities. Please ring the leader if you intend joining us.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
