A local man in his 30s with a disability is needing a bit of help to keep on track each week ~ just 1 hour a week. He loves rugby, tramping, movies and all things mechanical. This capable, friendly, Autistic, father needs a little help to keep the complex parts of life flowing. Mainly he needs some good consistent advice around healthy eating, budgeting and building friendships.
To be great at this job, you need to be confident, clear in your communication and able to walk the line between being helpful and bossy. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
