A ‘digital-first’ approach does not work for everyone.
Our national petition is a timely reminder to Government that people need to be able to access support whether online, over the phone or face-to-face. More than 7,500 signatures were provided to Parliament to ensure public services are accessible to all, so vulnerable people in society are not left behind in the rush to 'digitally transform' public services. Sacha Green of CABNZ says now it’s time to write a submission to support the petition. “We’re also really keen to have others contribute. If you would like to do this you can add your written comments to our Stories of Digital Exclusion or get in touch via admin@cab.org.nz or call our national office on 04 471 2735.”
