Our wonderful team of volunteers have so far handled 2,304 enquiries for 2024. Our top 10 related to Legal Services, Relationships, Rental Housing, Consumer Law, Conditions of Work, Death, Law Enforcement, Courts, Domestic Ownership & Rights of the Individual.
We know from listening to your concerns and discussing options to help you move forward, that our contribution is a very positive one and one we feel privileged to offer.
Our last day for the year will be on Friday 20 December from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. We will be back to take your enquiries from 6 January 2025. Meantime, keep following our facebook page and invite your friends to follow us.

Up until 20 December we will be open Monday to Thursday from 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. and Friday 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
