Any Surplus Veges available for a Marae Fundraising Stall this weekend?

Robyn from Kerikeri District

Kia ora Neighbours in Kerikeri District
Ok - this is a first - thought it was worth a try!
I'm organising a Stall this Labour weekend at our "Pa Wars" Annual sports competition in Whangaroa.
We will be selling healthy Chicken Wraps!!
If anyone has surplus veges e.g. lettuce, greens, capsicums, carrots, avocados, tomatos (ok yes - those are fruits) and are happy to donate them to our Marae fundraising; I'd be happy to pick them up this Friday 25th Oct (afternoon / evening) ; and/or Saturday 26th Oct (after 5pm).
Please text me on Mob 0272777942 and I'll ring or text you back.
Have a wonderful Long Weekend everyone :)

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Poll: As a customer, what do you think about automation?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.

Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.

We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?
