Last Saturday's training walk/run to the iconic Rainbow Falls was a blast. Great scenery, great exercise and great company! Next Saturday, weather permitting, we meet at 9am outside Al Fresco in Paihia to traverse across to Opua and back along some of our very beautiful coast line - we estimate 16km there and back. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
