Legendary NZ musician Dave Dobbyn is playing Live @ The Cauldron at Spark Arena on September 12!

Dave and a full band will take the stage to play a selection of homegrown anthems and rarities. Tickets from $49.90(+bf) go on sale 12pm Thursday 9 July from Ticketmaster.

The Cauldron mode at Spark Arena offers something for everyone, with a party floor and intimate seated theatre experience with the GA standing floor giving access to three sides of the stage. For those who wish to sit, all seats in the bowl have a perfect vantage point of the stage. Book now

Poll: Should we ditch daylight saving? 🕰️

First introduced in New Zealand in 1927 with the passing of the Summer Time Act, it's what we know as 'Daylight Saving' and this year it ends on the first Sunday in April.

While we do get to sleep in this time around, some people would like to scrap the clock tinkering for good.

And why? Some evidence suggests the time changes are bad for our health as they mess with sleep patterns leading to short-term fatigue and affecting mood. Meanwhile the hour change is frustrating for farmers and a nightmare for getting the littlies to sleep. But what's your take?

Away overseas in May! Garden Maintenance 🌿

Hi neighbours! Just a quick update — if flights aren’t disrupted due to the current fuel situation, I’ll be heading overseas from 6th May to 23rd May 2026 to celebrate a family member’s wedding 💍 and spend some quality time with family.
