Never a dull moment at Acacia Cove!
Yet another Mother's Day has come and gone, and as usual, we celebrated this very special day in style with a great lunch and even greater company.
On behalf of Acacia Cove Village, we hope all the Mothers out there had a very special Mother’s Day!
We experienced a power outage inside Acacia Cove Village that affected about 65 of our Residents. Even though it, potentially, could have become more than just an inconvenience, our Village Manager, Bruce Cullington had the brilliant idea to arrange dinner and drinks.
It turned out to be a fun night and most of the Resident’s attending this unexpected dinner treat didn’t leave till late. It just goes to show, there is never a dull moment here at Acacia Cove!
✨ Wishing you all a safe and joyful holiday season! 🎄
🌟 While I’m taking a well-deserved break, tending to some gardens between the Christmas and New Year public holidays, I’ll be ready to refresh your garden in the new year! 🌱
I will be returning back to gardening on Monday 12th January 2026.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
