Tūhuratia ō motika! | Discover your rights! When you are getting a quote, try and be clear about what work you want done and when you want it done. Businesses might charge you for a quote, but they must tell you about the charge before they start putting a quote together.
It is recommended to get at least three quotes if possible, so that you can compare a range of prices and materials and have more options. You should also get a quote in writing in case there is a dispute over it later.
