If you get a visit from someone on your property who says they are lost or asking directions I suggest you take rego and report to police. Police have been very proactive but they need leads.
In some emergencies you may be stranded in your vehicle for some time. A flood, snow storm or major traffic accident could make it impossible to proceed.

Kaeo Primary School Principal Paul Barker said he is "gutted" about the incident, especially as some of the money was raised during a school market day for a Year 6 graduation dinner and dance evening at the local rugby club.
