The Market is on this Saturday!
Phew - back to Level 1 again thanks to great leadership and decisive action from government - so Thames Market every Saturday can go ahead. Lots of our wonderful stallholders have booked and there are also new ones. A and A Kids with their tie-dye clothing will set up stall. You can have a look what's on offer on their page here www.facebook.com.... And let's do the right thing: use our Covid Tracer posters to sign in when you come to the market. They are placed on both sides of the pedestrian crossing, at the Pahau Street corners, by the Punters' Sports Bar and near the Grahamstown Community Hall.
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
