Help with fundraiser

Gwyn from Central-West Invercargill

Hello
My name is Gwyn upritchard
I live in Appleby Invercargill.
I would like help to organise a fund raising and awareness walk.
I would like to do a 57km walk as :
An awareness of “Give blood save lives”
Raise money for the haemophillia Foundation.
The walk would be circuits around the sports ground between Ythan & Connon streets (650 metres per circuit).
The time /distance would be recorded on my Garmin Instinct watch.
If we could get some sponsors for prizes run a sweepstake for everyone that donates to the fundraising to Guess the time taken to walk the 57Km.
The time range would be between 8 & 10 hours.
I am 57 years old a Km for each year to get the 57 Km.
I would not be alive if it was not for the NZ blood service , as I had to have a blood transfusion as a Neo natal baby.
I myself am a blood donor.
I have not actually walked the 57 Km before.
When I was 46 years old I cycled 234Km over Arthurs pass in 13 hours so used to endurance.
Are you willing to help please.
Kind regards
Gwyn upritchard

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
