Good morning, I hope everyone is looking forward to another glorious Southland day!!! Just a note to all the spring cleaners out there that we are a drop off for any whiteware, lawnmowers or any scrap metal that you may want to get rid of and donate to a fantastic cause! We also accept donations of furniture, kitchenware and other building supplies...situated just inside the gates of the Invercargill waste transfer station, 303 Bond St, Invercargill....or give us a call on 2147917. Open 7 days until 6 pm!!!
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
